SAN RAFAEL, CALIF. (October 7, 2005) — Thompson Technology Industries, Inc. (TTI) began offering a line of premier solar products today, launched by a nationwide press conference in Washington, D.C. at the Solar Power 2005 Conference. TTI was formed by SPG Solar, Inc. to design, manufacture and sell innovative and premier solar photovoltaic (PV) products worldwide.

“Each of our products is the result of over 300,000 man-hours of solar PV system design, engineering and installation experience. When we could not find a top-quality product that we needed on a job, we designed, patented and manufactured our own,” said Dan Thompson, CEO of Thompson Technology Industries and SPG Solar, Inc.

Designed for solar industry professionals, TTI’s initial products include roof, flush and pole mount rack systems, the Single-Axis Tracker, and the most sophisticated monitoring system in the industry, SunSpot^®, Internet-based data acquisition, real-time reporting, and string-level monitoring.

TTI products are unique because they enable solar industry professionals to incorporate optimal installation practices with the least amount of labor time. They increase the useful life of solar installations, while decreasing overall solar project costs.
